We’re excited to welcome you to the private beta of OSINT Navigator!
If you missed my previous emails, Navigator helps investigators find the right OSINT tool(s) for a specific task or need. Type in a query like “How do I find the owner of a website?” or “How to track a crypto transaction?” and it returns a list of relevant tools drawn from a curated database from nine independent OSINT toolkits.
We’re developing OSINT Navigator in partnership with Tom Vaillant, a journalist and technologist who runs Buried Signals.
Paid members like you get the first chance to use and test Navigator. You also receive additional daily queries and the ability to use an API or a Model Context Protocol (MCP) to pull data via your preferred AI agent. (What is MCP? Read more here.)
Today’s private beta is just the first step in making Navigator your trusted OSINT tool advisor. Please email us at [email protected] to share feedback, and suggestions. You can also click the “Bug report” button in the bottom right corner of Navigator.
To try it, got to navigator.indicator.media and click “Sign in” in the upper right hand corner:

Enter the email that’s connected to your Indicator membership:

You’ll receive an email with a login link (we don’t store any passwords). Click the link and you’re ready to go!
Type a query in the search bar and Navigator generates a list of relevant tools. Some queries also produce a "Cached answer.” This is produced by members and other OSINT experts who have contributed. It provides additional guidance about the tools that might be useful for your task.

We’d love for you to submit additional answers about specific tool use cases by taking two minutes to fill out this quick survey. It helps us benchmark Navigator's tool recommendations against what researchers are actually using. Each survey response makes Navigator better for users like you.
We also welcome your feedback! If you have a suggestion on how we can improve Navigator, please email us at [email protected] or click the “Bug report” button in the bottom right corner of Navigator.
