“ID-Verified Hot Chicks”: Inside the companies using rented LinkedIn profiles to blast thousands of DMs

In late April, before his account was banned, Caiden Glasier was asked on X what he does for a living.

“Fully done-for-you LinkedIn DMs,” he replied. “We source ID-verified accounts (attractive women), write the copy, build the lead lists, manage inboxes, and book sales calls directly to your calendar.”

Glasier’s business, Inmailers, offers a high tech version of the classic sales cold call. Instead of contacting people on the phone to pitch a service, Inmailers uses a mix of AI, automation and a network of rented LinkedIn profiles to spam thousands of messages on behalf of clients. Typically, the goal is for the target to schedule a follow up call with their client.

Inmailers’ basic package costs just under $3,500 a month and includes up to 10,000 LinkedIn messages. Such volume shouldn’t be possible because LinkedIn limits the number of messages an account can send. (The company hasn’t published an official number, but it’s reportedly around 100 or 150 per week.)

Inmailers’ website says it “bypassed LinkedIn's DM limits, enabling 400 DMs daily per account.” It doesn’t say how.

To hear Glasier tell it on X, business is booming. And he’s got plenty of competition. Indicator found more than half a dozen companies offering similar LinkedIn cold outreach services via rented accounts, though they don’t promise the same volume of messages as Inmailers.
